IRMS Award of Excellence to Morrison Community Hospital

Morrison Community Hospital was chosen as the fourth annual recipient of the "2010 Award of Excellence in Employee Safety." The award was announced May 6 at the annual Workers' Compensation Symposium hosted by the Illinois Compensation Trust (ICT) and Illinois Risk Management Services (IRMS).  

On May 23, Kent Jorgensen, Interim CEO, accepted a commemorative plaque and a $1,000 check for the hospital in recognition of this accomplishment. An additional plaque was presented to Kathy Pennock, Human Resources Director, for her exceptional role in managing the hospital's workers' compensation program.

The Award of Excellence is presented annually to an ICT or IRMS hospital with the best overall performance in their workers' compensation program during the prior calendar year.
