Hospital Report Card Act
The first law of its kind in the country, the Hospital Report Card Act (HRCA) (PA 93-0563) provides Illinois consumers a picture of each hospital's nurse staffing process and effectiveness as it relates to a critical public interest - patient outcomes. The law passed in 2003 with implementing regulations adopted in 2007.
