SwedishAmerican Health System to Offer Free Life-Saving Lung Scans in November & December
Lung cancer is the second-most-common cancer in both men and women. Although the scan normally costs $150, during the months of November and December, it is available for FREE, thanks in part to generous support from Radiology Consultants of Rockford. Read more>

Robert Young Center Recognized Nationally for Innovative Program that has Saved Illinois $8.2 million in Medicaid Costs Since 2009
In an effort to better address the needs of the estimated 40 percent of adults living with serious mental illness who do not receive mental health services, Connect 4 Mental Health announced the winners of the 2014 Community Innovation Awards. St. Elizabeth's Hospital Participating in Rural Health Tele-Network
Beginning this past summer, HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital and 15 other hospitals formed the "Illinois CONNECT Rural Health Tele-Network." This new network will help expand patient access to advanced emergency care in rural areas that may not have specialist physicians. Read more>
