Health Care Leadership Profiles Highlights Sinai Health System

I am pleased to share with you the latest issue of Profiles: Health Care Leadership and Innovation, which features Sinai Health System in Chicago. Alan Channing, President and CEO of Sinai, and his leadership team have focused on their vision of "becoming the national model for the delivery of urban health care." This thinking forms the foundation of Sinai's efforts at Mount Sinai Hospital, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, the Sinai Community Institute, and The Sinai Tomorrow Project.

The Profiles series highlights the innovation and commitment of Illinois hospitals and their leaders as the transformation of health care continues. It is an exceptional vehicle for promoting the work of our hospitals as they meet the needs of the patients they serve.

In conjunction with the publication of this issue of Profiles, our website features a podcast of Channing discussing Sinai Health System's strategies and vision. I believe it is critical that the public, the media, lawmakers, and policy makers know more about the extraordinary work our hospitals are doing to provide excellence and innovation in health care. I hope you will enjoy this issue of Profiles: Health Care Leadership and Innovation. I look forward to hearing from you.
