Advocacy CouncilThe Advocacy Council shall monitor and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding the Association's advocacy activities (e.g., lobbying, public relations, media relations, grassroots campaigns, and litigation) to ensure that such activities are coordinated, effective, and sufficient for the accomplishment of the Association's goals or the implementation of the Association's public policy positions. The Advocacy Council shall monitor the performance and activities of any political action committee organized or sponsored by the Association and shall make recommendations to the Board of Trustees necessary to ensure that the performance and activities of such political action committee are consistent with the Association's advocacy efforts and sufficient to meet the advocacy needs of the Association.
