Constituency SectionsThe Constituency Sections are made up of individuals, organizations, and units of organizations that share common characteristics or interests. They reflect the diversification of hospital services as hospitals increasingly devote more resources to the continuum of care. Advocacy and representation with the legislature, regulatory agencies, third-party payers, and accrediting bodies; data resources; educational programs; and communications materials are some of the member services the Constituency Sections provide. The Policy and Advocacy Councils may also ask the Constituency Sections to analyze specific issues and make recommendations. IHA's Constituency Sections are listed below with a link to their section of our web site. Your hospital is automatically a member of the Constituency Sections that represent the services your facility offers.
