State:As an association of approximately 200 hospitals and health systems, the Illinois Hospital Association advocates on health care issues in the General Assembly. We facilitate discussion and provide information on legislative issues to our members, whose involvement is a key to our success. Working together with our members, we strive to establish close working relationships with elected and appointed officials to ensure that Illinois laws and regulations affecting health care provide a reasonable and equitable environment in which hospitals can provide high quality and affordable health care.
