Post Acute Care
Health care is provided through a continuum of services that includes long-term care, rehabilitation and home care. Access to care that is appropriate to the patient's needs within a continuum is good for patients and will be a necessary component of health reform.

Nursing Home Safety
Governor Quinn established a Nursing Home Safety Task Force in response to articles in the Chicago Tribune regarding assault in nursing homes. The Nursing Home Safety Task Force published its report in February. View report (pdf).
