Goals and Objectives

Adopted by IUBC on March 12, 1998

Goal: To be the primary focal point for all Illinois parties involved in health care Uniform Billing transactions to review and govern the data specifications of Illinois Uniform Billing and manual requirements.

Objectives: Provide input and feedback to the National Uniform Billing Committee (NUBC) on proposed NUBC changes.

Provide a forum for taking Illinois Uniform Billing issues that are national in scope to the NUBC.

Provide language on approved changes to the IUBC manual.

Communicate changes to users and preparers of UB-92.
