HIPAA

The federal Health Insurance and Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) has many requirements aimed to reduce health administration costs and increase efficiencies in the delivery and administration of health care. IHA has developed a number of opportunities to engage hospital and health care providers in meeting these requirements.
