Head of CMS Speaks About Future of Medicaid

In a special forum co-hosted by IHA and the Civic Federation’s Institute for Illinois’ Fiscal Sustainability held today at Northwestern Memorial’s Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago, Kerry Weems, Acting Administrator of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), gave a talk on the future of Medicaid and its potential impact on states. He presented the "2008 Actuarial Report on the Financial Outlook for Medicaid."
