May 12, 2006 IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation NoticeThe Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Regulation wishes to make you aware of some significant changes in application processing. Please feel free to share this information with your students, membership, or any other affected parties.The Division of Professional Regulation in order to process applications more efficiently and timely has made the following changes: All required supporting documentation must be submitted with the application and required fee unless otherwise noted in the instructions. The Division intends to receive the application, fee, and required supporting documentation as a complete packet. A checklist has been added to each application to assist the applicant in ensuring there are no delays in the licensure process due to incomplete information indicated on the application jacket and to eliminate deficient supporting documentation. The Work History requirement has been eliminated. Applicants may apply for the examination directly on-line. They may register for the examination by referring to Continental Testing Services, (CTS), Inc. web site (www.continentaltesting.net). Information is provided on how to apply for the examination online and pay the testing fee by credit card. Application forms can be downloaded from the IDFPR web site at www.idfpr.com. |
