IHA Member Groups
Member involvement is an essential part of IHA. The Association has various membership groups that offer a forum for members to provide input into our policy development process, advocacy strategy, and product development.
Our councils, committees, and task forces engage members in specific issues and policy development. The IHA Board of Trustees is IHA's ultimate policymaking body.
Our constituency sections bring together members with shared interests and offer forums for education and networking. In addition, the sections provide a vehicle for the development of recommendations to other IHA membership groups and the Board of Trustees.
IHA has nine regions throughout the state that meet twice a year for the purpose of receiving updates on IHA initiatives, seeking member input on key issues, and providing a forum for networking and communication.
IHA also has affiliate societies which are separate organizations focusing on a specific health care professional discipline or department of the hospital. Their focus is professional development, education, and networking.
