Volunteers

The IHA Constituency on Volunteers' (CoV) mission is "support, enhance and expand hospital volunteerism through education." The CoV emphasizes educating the community and volunteer constituents on issues affecting health care. The CoV continues to strengthen the link between the health systems, hospitals and the community.

Participation in CoV activities and programs is open to any elected auxiliary/volunteer leader, auxilian, volunteer, director of volunteers, or related hospital staff of an IHA member hospital or health system. Up to a 15-member Steering Committee directs the CoV activities.
