HFS Notice on Attachment C Utilization Review Update

The Illinois Dept. of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) issued an informational notice on May 1, 2008 regarding utilization review updates effective June 1, 2008. HFS has made changes in diagnosis codes on Attachment C that are subject to mandatory concurrent review. Some diagnosis codes have been eliminated while new diagnosis codes have been added.
