Investor-Owned Constituency Section

Investor-Owned hospitals are a significant and growing segment of the hospital industry in Illinois. Legislation or regulation may sometimes impact this segment differently from those organized as not-for-profit hospitals.

The IHA Investor-Owned Constituency Section was formed to provide a vehicle for identification and discussion of issues of importance pertaining to Investor-Owned hospitals and as a way to provide specific input on key issues. In addition, the Constituency Section seeks to advance an overall understanding of Investor-Owned hospitals and their many contributions.

The Chief Executive Officers of all IHA member Investor-Owned hospitals comprise the Constituency Section's Steering Committee which convenes quarterly.
