Volunteers

The IHA Constituency on Volunteers' (CoV) mission is "support, enhance, and expand hospital volunteerism through education." The CoV emphasizes educating the community and volunteer constituents on issues affecting health care. CoV continues to strengthen the link between the health systems, hospitals, and community.

Participation in CoV activities and programs is open to any elected auxiliary/volunteer leader, auxilian, volunteer, director of volunteers, or related hospital staff of an IHA member hospital or health system.

A 15-member steering committee directs the CoV activities.
