Physician Professional Liability

Medical Alliance Insurance Company (MAIC) provides professional liability insurance to closely aligned physicians on staff at self-insured hospitals being served by Illinois Risk Management Services (IRMS) and members of the Illinois Provider Trust (IPT). This program takes advantage of the cooperative effort between hospitals and physicians with early claims intervention that serves to reduce legal costs, prevent plaintiff attorney creation of conflict between defendants, and reduce premiums.
